Yes today lucky old Leatherface has made his way to Disney Land Paris, (no one tell my kids because they wont be happy they didnt get to go). Here he is at the magic kingdom ready for some fun, it looks like a lovely day too. I wonder what rides he will go on and if he will get his photo taken with Mickey and Minnie? (Have I given away tomorrows photo allready?)
Have a great day LF, stay off that Tower of Terror, you know your easily scared!

Paris in the spring
Today Leatherface has made it to Paris, he set off swimming last night and despite falling asleep several times he managed to cross the channel in only 2 hours setting a new world record. Congratulations Leatherface! Bring us back some crepes and a baguette.

Oh I do like to be....
beside the seaside.
Look at him today enjoying a traditional British holiday, here he is on the beautiful sandy beach at Minehead, perhaps using his chainsaw to do some amazing sand sculptures?

Read the signs leatherface...
When visiting the Safari Park the signs clearly say to stay in your vehicle, though with a chainsaw I guess your chances of surviving a tiger attack do increase somewhat

bring out the gimp
So I have been learning to use gimp this week and Im doing OK, I tried using photoshop before and I was ok following tutorials but I just cant retain any kind of technological knowledge. But Ive found I can do some simple things with Gimp and make images which look really good. I started with images I purchaced on Etsy and now Ive managed to cut and use images of my own, Im so proud of myself and it really has kept me amused!
Nixie on her birthday last year, she looked at this with a confused expression and asked when was it she saw this dog!
Im thinking about doing something like this as an image a day project, leatherface travels the world, here he is at stonehenge wearing some butterfly wing and running away from birds!

Off to a slow start
I have the Etsy shop set up, I have my blog looking gorgeous (which I cant take much credit for thanks to Itkupilli x) I have my facebook fanpage, but I now have a printer that has decided it no longer wishes to work and I am waiting for Kodak to send me a magic ink cartridge with super inbuilt technology which will apparently fix it. So while we are waiting, what is Hammer House Homeware all about? Well......the plan is somewhat fuzzy and I'm not sure that the collection is going to be too coherent but its going to be fun and alternative creepy and kitch and dark and vibrant and chintzy and modern and punk and girly and....well you get the idea. I think the word is eclectic! Mixed media, an unlikely mix of fabrics and trims are the signature look, beyond that anything goes.
